also we recently had another family member pass away and after doing some research we found out that Showalters is the most expensive in town now that they are owned by a big corporation.
My grandparents used to swear by this funeral home years ago when the original owners were still there, but now they are just another big business that only cares about money and will cut corners to get there.
My grandfather was buried by them and when we had to make arrangements they had a guy who is not a licensed funeral director make the arrangements. I found out just recently that this is illegal and asked around and found that I am not the only one. the guy was nice enough but seemed confused at points.
